  • Dive deep into etcd by contributing to the self-Assessment of etcd

LFX Mentorship · Listed in the official cohort

This project continues the work initiated in the etcd - technical scope of the assessment. The goal is to dive deep into etcd's architecture in depth by completing and publishing the self-assessment for SIG-Security review. The project has two key components: (1) collaborating with mentors, project maintainers, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to investigate etcd and kube-apiserver internals, particularly the lifecycle of requests and consensus mechanisms, and (2) updating and enhancing the etcd.io website documentation by creating new pages, refining existing content, and publishing blog posts to ensure the documentation reflects current architecture and best practices. Whether you're a new contributor, already active in the community, or simply curious about etcd, we welcome you to join this project!

  • Etcd.io Docs/SEO Improvement Plan Continuation

LFX Mentorship · Listed in the official cohort

This project is the continuation of the etcd.io website docs improvement work. While the relocation of the primary documentation, SEO, and site look and feel work has already been done, there is still more work to be done to implement the new information architecture that has been proposed. This includes working with the mentors and project maintainers to write new pages, adapt existing ones, and write blog posts.
